PRENATAL YOGA

The practice of prenatal yoga is very beneficial for women during pregnancy, and even has benefits for childbirth itself.

Pre-natal yoga focuses on the physical and emotional needs of women, who are experiencing very significant hormonal and physiological changes. Our main goals are to reduce stress, activate the immune and circulatory systems, gain flexibility in the pelvic region and stability in the legs and spine.

Inner balance and proper breathing also play an important role in making pregnancy a divine process and the time of delivery easier and smoother.

Constant practice relieves possible tensions and pains and other symptoms related to pregnancy. Yoga for pregnant women is a very adapted yoga, depending on the trimester and the state of the woman. The classes are restorative-therapeutic yoga, with the use of support objects.

Both the asanas (yoga postures) and the breathing techniques are built to accompany and support the woman in her process, strengthening the connection with the fetus, providing mental and physical preparation for the day of childbirth, with calm, tranquility and vitality. .

The focus would be on rebuilding/rehabilitating the different parts of the body that have been affected during pregnancy and childbirth. The internal organs, the pelvic floor, and the muscle tone have to return to their previous state of vitality and function, with toning and progressive and safe return towards a more dynamic practice.

"When this body has been so magnificently and artistically created by God, it is only fitting that we should maintain it in good health and harmony by the most excellent and artistic science of Yoga."
